Chien Shang Industrial Co., Ltd. is one of the few Tier 1 interior trim parts suppliers to domestic automakers, with its primary customers being major Japanese automotive manufacturers.

Deputy General Manager Sun Ming-Hong warmly received the delegation. Throughout its growth journey, Chien Shang has remained committed to embedding technology locally in Taiwan. Guided by the operational philosophy of "taking from the land and giving back to the land," the company has continuously expanded its facilities, cultivated talent, and increased local employment opportunities over the past thirty years.

Deputy General Manager Sun also introduced Chien Shang's "TPS (Toyota Production System)." The subsequent factory tour provided concrete examples of on-site improvements, with meticulous attention given to operational safety. The level of detail and thoroughness was truly impressive.

During the Q&A session following the tour, Deputy General Manager Sun answered participants’ questions in detail. He noted that Kuozui Motor, a Tier 1 customer of Chien Shang, is set to become Toyota’s fourth production base in Japan. As a key supplier to Kuozui Motor, Chien Shang—together with its partners—has achieved a level of quality that distinguishes it from typical overseas production facilities. Toyota has recognized its production quality as equivalent to that of Toyota’s three domestic plants in Japan, effectively certifying Chien Shang as meeting the highest standards of Toyota manufacturing.

This visit provided invaluable learning opportunities for industry peers. Participants not only admired Chien Shang's deep understanding and rigorous implementation of the Toyota Production System but also expressed sincere respect for the company’s achievement in earning Toyota’s certification.
