To advance manufacturing application upgrades in Taiwan's mold industry through smart manufacturing adoption, the Industrial Development Administration (IDA) under the Ministry of Economic Affairs (MOEA) is responding to trends in robotics, automation, AI applications, and the widespread use of information tools. This initiative empowers SMEs with the resources to implement digital factory concepts, particularly amid rising labor costs and talent shortages. Across the manufacturing sector, companies are actively pursuing digital transformation, smart manufacturing, and advanced technologies/processes.
