Experience of Advanced Mold Technologies under KATECH ODA Program

On Monday, July 7, a delegation of 12 Indonesian government officials visited our Association to gain insight into the excellence of the Korean mold industry.

This visit was organized as part of an Official Development Assistance (ODA) project led by the Korea Automotive Technology Institute (KATECH). The program aimed to enhance project effectiveness by providing participants with on-site visits to Korea’s manufacturing sector and hands-on exposure to advanced industrial technologies.

During the visit, the Indonesian delegation attended a briefing in the Association’s 3rd-floor conference room, where they received an overview of the Association’s activities and the current status of Korea’s mold industry. They also toured the training center facilities, viewing various mold-related equipment and products on display.

At the event, Mr. Lim Young-taek, Executive Director of the Association, stated:

“We hope that today’s visit will serve as a meaningful opportunity to further strengthen technological exchange and cooperation between our two countries, particularly in the mold industry, which forms the foundation of the manufacturing sector.”
